This is a heavy cast iron Christmas Caroler’s Stocking Hanger. It has an old world look about it. This is new, old stock, some call it dead stock but what it means is that even though it’s new, it was made a while back and is store stock that was never sold at retail. These have been put back for several years and therefore have some fading, discoloration, scratches, chipped paint, rust and gotten dirty and stained. All this just adds to the patina and they’re still very charming and will look great on an old mantle. I have a few of these available and will be selling them all from the photos featured here so it is if you purchase one, you may or may not receive the one you see here. They are all in about the same condition but I will send out the one I deem to be the best one first.
